About the festival
A strong international team of musicians are warming up to present a selection of great programs when one of Denmark’s top chamber ensembles, Trio con Brio Copenhagen, bring together some of the finest musicians from all across Europe, as well as three of Denmark’s most promising young talents – and an actor – to perform at the Chamber Music Festival at Lundsgaard Estate 9th-12th August 2018.
The musicians are:
Trio con Brio Copenhagen, piano trio (DK/KR)
Soo-Jin Hong, violin
Soo-Kyung Hong, cello
Jens Elvekjær, piano
Andrej Bielow, violin (UA)
Ettore Causa, viola (IT)
Andreas Brantelid, cello (DK)
Enrico Pace, piano (IT)
Sergey Malov, violin, viola and violoncello da spalla (RUS)
As well as three young Danish super talents:
Anna Egholm, violin (DK)
Jonathan Siahaan, piano (DK)
Jonas Lyskjær Frølund, clarinet (DK)
A total of 15 events made up of eight concerts, three artist talks, three open rehearsals and one pop-up concert in just four days, make the festival an intensely interesting experience. As a special feature, you will meet all the performers during the entire festival as they combine in different formations for the concerts. All events are connected through the festival theme – in 2018 ‘BRIDGES’.
The concerts take place in the perfectly tuned acoustic of ‘Anexet’, a newly rebuilt concert hall at Lundsgaard Estate, extremely well suited for chamber music concerts. The late-night concert in Kerteminde Church promises a different and more meditative experience.
Lundsgaard Estate is situated just outside the small town Kerteminde – a scenic background for the festival, close to both woodlands and the sea.
